Gone are the days when the auditor sat in the company office in front of piles of paper, to check the bookkeeping. Since the “Regulations on data access and auditability of digital documents” (GDPdU) came into effect on 1 January 2002 he is required to process the tax-relevant data electronically – considerably faster and more efficient.

All tax-relevant data has to be made available in an IDEA–compliant format and if need be handed to the auditor on a data storage medium.

  • Does your current software satisfy the requirements of digital auditing?
  • Can your tax-relevant data be analysed electronically?
  • Do you archive your data in a format that is audit-proof?

Initially the GDPdU guidelines seem to be only advantageous for the auditor. But the availability of a legally accepted format enables you to discard your old systems and to save costs.

We are happy to show you personally how you can comply with GDPdU regulations and even gain benefits from it.
